Their presence often causes problems in residential and professional spaces.
The most frequently encountered species of ants are two:
- PHARAOH ANT
- The black ant.
It is small, blond and makes nests inside the house. It prefers hot and humid conditions.
The black ant makes its nest outside and comes inside for food and water.
Ants have a life cycle of four stages:
Egg, larva, pupa and adult.
Ants exhibit the phenomenon of trophallaxis: Adults feed all the members of the colony, including the queen. Thus, they are handled mainly by placing a special food-attractant gel. This is effective for all species of ants and is placed in specific places to carry it to their nest.
They are also handled with residual spraying, emphasizing on the special characteristics of each space.
